We are excited to offer this charming little Rover Mini Mayfair 1275cc with the manual 4-speed.

 

Registered the 31/01/1994, this example has been extensively upgraded by its current vendor over their ownership. The upgrades feature improvements to engine performance, handling and the ride. Major works include those listed below, as well as many other small improvements:

-HS4 twin carburettors

-New AC Dodd distributor 

-Front medium strength front springs with Pro-tec adjustable shocks all round

-Quick release front grill

-Catalytic delete with link pipe to MC40 exhaust 

-Maniflow inlet manifold with adjusted breathers

-New discs and pads

-Quickshift and new steering column

 

The bodywork and paint is consistent, with no major blemishes seen. The interior remains majorly original, and although in a good condition throughout, does show some signs of use, including cigarette burns in the driver seat and a tear in the headlining above the drivers corner. The current owner has also painted the dash all black. The 1275cc engine performs very well following the works and the quick selector gearbox pairs up great with it, making it very enjoyable and light to drive. Please note that the front shocks would likely benefit from being raised.

 

The history file contains invoices for the recent works and services completed. This Mini is a great little classic can be enjoyed as is, or with room to be taken to a higher level with improvements here and there.
