We are delighted to offer this superb T2 split screen example, restored previously to a very high standard.

 

Imported to the UK in 2007, this camper went under a total restoration 2 year restoration we are told, back to bare shell and chassis, upgraded to a 1774cc engine with upgraded ignition etc, and a brake conversion including discs fitted on the front, completed by Johnsons Auto Works before 2010. However, unfortunately no history on what was exactly done has been retained as it was lost by the previous owner, but it is obvious that no expense was spared in the work. The interior was also completely retrimmed and upholstered to an outstanding standard and to the same red over cream colour scheme as the exterior, and even for an older restoration, it shows little to no signs of use.

 

The camper has evidently remained in a very tidy condition throughout and has been exceptionally cared for. The body and paintwork appear extremely consistent and smart, and the interior reflects the same. Mechanically, it drives much better to its factory configuration due to the upgraded engine configuration, brake and suspension systems, making for a much more pleasurable and easier driving experience.
