1989 Honda VFR750R RC30

Built purely for homologation purposes for the World Superbike Championship, the Honda VFR750R RC30 still remains one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable motorbikes in the world. A bike, designed for the road, but built for the track features the epitome of Honda engineering, including its fearsome, liquid-cooled, 748cc, 90 degree V4, 16 valve, connected with gear-driven double overhead cams, titanium connecting rods and forged two ring pistons. Paired with its 6-speed box, the bike pushed 118hp at 11,000 rpm, managing 80mph in first gear, with a top speed of 150mph, all at a wet weight of 220kg.

We are proud to present this, 1989 Honda VFR750R-K RC30, UK delivered and registered 05/10/1989, having only done an extremely low mileage of 3707 from new, and having only had 2 owners prior. The bike was bought by its current owner on the 18th February 2005, and has since been stored with very light use. This stunning bike is presented in an immaculate, concourse quality condition both mechanically and cosmetically, retaining complete originality from new, including the original paintwork. The bike has been regularly taken out of storage in order to be serviced, including its latest in March this year, completed by CMC Motorcycles Chesterfield, with a set of new tires being put on.

There is the V5C, ownership and purchase documents and full service history present with the bike, along with many other parts and accessories, including, its original paddock stand, original Honda tool kit, original tires, race exhaust and magnesium race wheels, although the bike has never been raced. There is also a box of spares available with the bike mirrors, indicators, head stocks, fuel taps, and some other parts.

This bike will be an extremely valuable addition to any enthusiast, not only as an ever appreciating classic, but as a truly unique and special experience, wether displayed in a collection or ridden.
