Number 232 of the 350 cars produced, 464 LHT was delivered new to the Bristol Motor Company, whose large Art Deco showroom had been opened by Lord Nuffield himself in the 1930s. As major distributors of both Austin and Morris cars, they first registered the car on February 7th 1961, carrying the 464 LHT Bristol registration.

Although there is a low amount of paperwork within the history, it is understood that the restoration that was undertaken in the late 90s was largely extensive, and the car has only covered 150 miles since having only been used as a display, and continued to be maintained and kept in working-order frequently by The Great British Car Journey.

A well-known car within Minor circles, 464 LHT was formerly owned by Ted Brooke, who served as registrar of the Minor Million Register. The car subsequently became part of the James Hull Collection, where it was kept alongside many other significant and important examples of British motoring history, until joining our current vendor. It offers itself as a unique opportunity which celebrates the golden-era of British motoring.
