We are excited to offer this exceptional 1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupe, subject to a full restoration. 

First registered on the 29th of June 1962, this stunning example has been subject to a full restoration and performance upgrades in the recent years. Following from 2015, the car was fitted with several upgrades including, an FIA spec manifold and exhaust, Fosseway vented disc brakes, Fosseway radiator, Elite Racing 5-speed gearbox. In 2016, the engine also went through a full rebuild, carried out by New Forrest Classics.

Since the current vendor’s purchase, the car has undergone a full, extensive interior re-trim in New Biscuit, and a recent exterior respray in Carmen Red. C20 Motorcars also undertook a large amount of preparation work including an engine tune, alternator upgrade, and fitting LED lights, in order for the car to enter the St Moritz British Classic Car meeting, in which covering around 1500 faultless miles.

This example comes with a very comprehensive history file including many invoices dating back to 1986, full documentation and photographs of restoration work, a Jaguar Heritage certificate, and also its original Moss Box.
