We are delighted to offer this stunning, 1958 Jaguar XK150 3.4 SE Coupe, finished in Cotswold Blue over a grey interior, and one of 1368 RHD fixed head coupes produced.

Registered on 22/04/1958, 999 CAE is a genuine UK, RHD example, originally sold to its first owner by Henlys in London, with matching numbers.  In the years following, the car had passed through several new custodians, although remaining in the South the whole time. This example’s history has remained very well documented over the years, showing that it has been attentively maintained with many records of the works completed.

Since acquiring the car in 2021, the current owner sent the car to be put through a body-off restoration, undergone by specialists Rushton Engineering, which included, a full engine rebuild, the chassis sandblasted and painted, the interior re-trim including headlining and carpets, new exhaust, a re-wire of the electrics, braking system overhauled, new wheel bearings, new bushes and joints in the suspension and new tyres.

999 CAE’s body and paint work is in fantastic condition as prior to the current ownership, the whole body was re-painted, with many pictures available of the process. The car is offered with a rather substantial history, including numerous invoices, many photographs of the works completed, registration documents, and the Heritage certificate.
