This T2 Bay was first registered on the 29th March 1973. It is a historic vehicle and therefore is DVLA Tax and MOT exempt. It is fitted with the 4 speed manual gearbox, and a fully overhauled 1.7l engine which has done 25,000 miles since with no problems. The current mileage on the odometer is just over 9000 miles having been round the clock once. It is in excellent running order and starts first time.

 

The only outstanding mechanical issue are the heat exchangers which are in need of replacement at some point. The rocker bed is in good order with the additional flatbed ‘up top’. Everything else works well.

The Bay has undergone extensive bodywork and internal restoration from November 2022 to October 2023 with over £20,000 spent, while trying to maintain as much originality as possible. The work included new:
